Privacy by design
Privacy comes first.
Glasses with a camera in a store: the first question is the right one, and the answer is in the design, not in a promise. Customers, staff and data are protected from day one.
Faces blurred, first of all
The algorithm blurs faces on purpose, before any processing: people who pass in front of the glasses are not identified.
No anonymous access
Every request reaches SAP in the name of the person wearing the glasses, with their own permissions, and is logged. No shared users.
Data in the EU
The AI agent runs on Google Cloud in the European Union (or in the country you prefer).
GDPR compliant
Privacy by design, in line with the GDPR and the rules of every country where we install the solution.
Only what is needed
The glasses read codes, labels and products to answer the question. Personal, secure sign-in, managed with SAP Cloud Identity.
DPIA annex ready
The technical annex for the data protection impact assessment (DPIA), in Italian and English, for your DPO and legal team.
And the staff?
Glasses worn by employees may fall under the rules on remote monitoring of workers (in Italy, Article 4 of the Workers’ Statute). We support you with the DPIA and the required steps, together with your DPO and advisers.
